Composer Original Music for French Roast
Olivier Lliboutry has launched its website ! A very nice to see the work of the composer who signed the beautiful score of French Roast (which I am very proud!). You can also find some sound clips in "audio."
I know Oliver has over 15 years and when I started thinking about the music of the film which was to hold a prominent place, I immediately thought of him. Olivier is a great songwriter and as I wanted the music to give a true identity sound French Roast, it was the perfect choice. The action takes place in Paris in the '60s, we wish to discuss music by some police comedies of that era. A little training was needed and Olivier proposed an electric guitar, bass, some electronic organ, flute, percussion ... and güiro !
We were fortunate to obtain financial assistance from Alcimé for music that has enabled us to record with real musicians in the studio Val d'Orge.
Another big thank you to Olivier Lliboutry, all musicians and Lorena singing, Jean Taxis sound engineer and Alcimé!
